Australia Records Over 200 H5N1 Bird Flu Cases, Threatening Native Wildlife
Australia has confirmed more than 200 cases of the H5N1 bird flu across five states, with South Australia reporting the highest number of detections. The virus, which primarily affects wild birds, has not yet been found in commercial poultry. The Australian government is enhancing biosecurity measures to prevent the virus from entering poultry operations.
