Texas Mural Honors Druze and Iranian Children Killed by Iran and Its Proxies
A large-scale mural titled 'WOMAN. LIFE. FREEDOM.' was unveiled in Webster, Texas, by Iranian-American artist Hooman Khalili. The mural honors Druze and Iranian children who were victims of violence by the Islamic regime of Iran and its proxies. The installation, located outside Houston, depicts children on a soccer field and combines stories of victims from Israel and Iran. It specifically highlights the 12 Druze children killed by a Hezbollah rocket in Majdal Shams, Israel, in 2024, and Iranian children killed during regime crackdowns since 2022. Khalili's work aims to draw international attention to these victims, coinciding with the upcoming FIFA World Cup hosted in North America.
