Israeli Government Allocates Over NIS 1 Billion for Military Tribunals of October 7 Terrorists
The Israeli government has approved a budget exceeding one billion new shekels to conduct military tribunals for terrorists involved in the October 7 Hamas massacre. This legislation, passed in May, allows for the imposition of the death penalty and public trials for those responsible for the attacks. The budget will fund the establishment of court complexes, prosecution offices, and IDF headquarters, as well as cover costs for manpower, communications, and other services. The trials will be held at a military court in Jerusalem, with provisions for public access and audiovisual documentation.
