Noreen Donovan's Legacy in Business and Community Remembered in Obituary
Noreen Ryan Donovan, a prominent figure in business management and a community-minded feminist, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026. Born in Chicago, she was the daughter of Patrick and Lenore Ryan. Donovan had a successful career, culminating as the Chief Operating Officer of a division of Aon Corporation. She was married to Timothy Aloysius for 52 years, with whom she raised two children. Donovan is survived by her daughter Sharyn, son Tim, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her siblings Joanne Janiak, Clare Gaszak, Tom, and Kevin also survive her. She was preceded in death by her husband Tim and siblings Dan, Ellen Dubinski, and James. A funeral mass is scheduled for April 15, 2026, at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Gilbert, Arizona, followed by inurnment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Mesa, Arizona.
