The incident occurred in Blairmore, and the police shared the fox's photo on social media, humorously warning the public about the 'brazen criminal.' The post quickly went viral, with many people jokingly defending the fox's innocence. The police did not take the fox into custody, and it was released without any charges. The event took place just before Victoria Day, a holiday celebrated with barbecues, similar to Memorial Day in the U.S.
