A new film titled 'The Proving Ground' has been released, capturing the allure and dangers of skiing Tuckerman Ravine on Mt. Washington, New Hampshire. Known for its steep descents and historical significance in extreme skiing, Tuckerman Ravine presents numerous hazards, including avalanches and severe injuries from falls. The film, produced by Warden Co. in partnership with the Mt. Washington Avalanche Center, premiered at Ledge Brewing in Intervale and on YouTube. It features perspectives from the Avalanche Center, skiers, and rescue crews, emphasizing the importance of safety measures such as carrying a beacon, probe, shovel, ice axe, and buddy, and checking avalanche forecasts.
