California to Experience Cooling Trend After Hot Weather
California is set to experience a significant shift in weather conditions over the coming days. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, high temperatures in areas such as Livermore, Dublin, and Walnut Creek are expected to drop by 15°F or more, settling in the mid-70s. Northern Napa, Sonoma, and Solano counties may still see temperatures in the 80s, while coastal areas will remain cooler, with highs in the 60s. Inland regions, including the Sacramento Valley, will struggle to reach 90°F. This cooling trend is attributed to a weakening high-pressure system and the approach of a low-pressure system from the West Coast. Additionally, remnants of Tropical Storm Jangmi are expected to energize the Pacific jet stream, potentially bringing moisture to the region. Despite the cooler temperatures, hazardous beach conditions, including sneaker waves and rip currents, are forecast until Saturday morning.
