Bayer Recalls Nearly 800,000 Afrin Nasal Spray Bottles Over Child Safety Concerns
Bayer has issued a recall for nearly 800,000 Afrin nasal spray bottles due to packaging that is not child-resistant, posing a risk of poisoning if ingested by young children. The recall affects 786,100 units of the 6ml travel-size Afrin nasal spray. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall, stating that customers who purchased the product are entitled to a refund. The recall involves unexpired bottles with specific lot numbers, and no injuries have been reported in connection with the recall.
