Naperville's Distinguished Gentleman's Ride Aims to Raise $15,000 for Men's Health
Naperville is set to host the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride on May 17, an event aimed at raising funds and awareness for men's health issues, including mental health and prostate cancer. The ride, which started unofficially seven years ago by Sven Davies and Mark Jacquot, has grown to become the second largest in Illinois. This year, the organizers aim to gather 100 participants and raise over $15,000. The event will feature a 14-mile ride through Naperville, starting at 9 a.m. and concluding with a pop-up event on Water Street. Over 60 participants have already registered, and more than $13,000 has been raised so far. The event is part of a global initiative founded in 2012 in Sydney, Australia, and is now associated with Movember, a national organization dedicated to men's health.
