Her disappearance prompted a missing person investigation when her personal belongings, including her purse, identification, and cellphones, were found left behind. The NMSP, in coordination with the Office of the Medical Investigator (OMI), confirmed the identity of the remains. The investigation into her disappearance and the circumstances surrounding her death remains active and ongoing.
