Kelowna Students Learn Dangers of Impaired Driving Through Crash Demo
Students at Okanagan Mission Secondary in Kelowna participated in a demonstration highlighting the dangers of impaired driving. The event, organized by the Kelowna Fire Department, RCMP, and BC Ambulance Service, simulated a head-on collision involving a driver under the influence. The demonstration aimed to educate Grade 12 students, who are nearing full driving privileges, about the consequences of driving impaired. First responders showcased their procedures in handling such incidents, emphasizing the importance of making safe driving decisions.
