Seven Animals Capable of Killing the Deadly King Cobra
The king cobra, one of the most venomous snakes, faces threats from several animals capable of killing it. These include the mongoose, known for its agility and genetic immunity to venom, and the honey badger, which can withstand venom due to a genetic mutation. The crested serpent eagle preys on snakes, including king cobras, using its claws to crush or decapitate them. Saltwater crocodiles, with their powerful bite, also pose a threat. Reticulated pythons, although non-venomous, can constrict and kill king cobras. Interestingly, king cobras sometimes engage in cannibalism, and humans remain their biggest threat due to habitat destruction and illegal trade.
