Telangana and Lower Saxony Collaborate on Skilled Workforce Development
The Telangana government in India and the Government of Lower Saxony in Germany have entered into a partnership to address the increasing demand for a skilled workforce. This collaboration involves the exchange of a Letter of Intent between Telangana's Labour, Employment, Training and Factories Minister Gaddam Vivek Venkat Swamy and Lower Saxony Minister for Hannover, Tonne. The agreement aims to create structured and transparent legal pathways for skilled migration, facilitating the safe and beneficial movement of talent between the regions. The partnership will focus on sharing knowledge and best practices in workforce development, including vocational education, skill certification, and industry-aligned training frameworks. Additionally, the initiative will include German language training to prepare candidates for employment opportunities in Lower Saxony.
