Pre-Army Academy to Honor Duvdevan Fighters in Kfar Aza
A new pre-army academy is set to open in Kibbutz Kfar Aza, Israel, in memory of Team 100 from the elite Duvdevan unit. The initiative, led by Mickey Michaeli, father of the late Sgt. Maj. (res) Omri Michaeli, aims to honor the fighters who fell during the October 7 battle in Kfar Aza. The academy, named Me’a, will serve as a tribute to the deep bond formed between the unit's fighters and the kibbutz community. The project is expected to begin in September, coinciding with the return of some residents to Kfar Aza. The academy will not only serve as an educational framework but also as a means to integrate young people into the community's rehabilitation efforts.
