India Nightclub Fire Results in 25 Deaths, Including Tourists

The incident occurred overnight on Saturday, with the fire believed to have started due to a gas cylinder explosion in the kitchen area. The majority of the victims died from suffocation, while a few succumbed to burns. The nightclub was hosting a Bollywood DJ event, attracting a large crowd. The narrow entry and exit points hindered rescue efforts, as firefighters had to park their vehicles a significant distance from the venue. The Chief Minister of Goa, Pramod Sawant, has ordered an inquiry into the incident, promising stringent action against any negligence.
