Dan Stehlik Receives Honorary Nebraska State FFA Degree for Contributions to Agricultural Education
Dan Stehlik, an agricultural mechanics instructor at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture, has been awarded the Honorary Nebraska State FFA Degree. This recognition was given during the Nebraska FFA State Convention in Lincoln, acknowledging Stehlik's decades-long dedication to agricultural education, student mentorship, and career development. The Honorary State FFA Degree is one of the highest honors from the organization, celebrating individuals who have made significant contributions to agricultural education and the success of FFA members across the state. Stehlik's career spans 33 years, including teaching roles at NCTA, Kansas high schools, and Nebraska high schools. His courses cover a range of subjects such as welding, electricity, irrigation technology, and equipment maintenance, reflecting a hands-on, industry-connected teaching philosophy.
