At the Space Conference of the Americas, held at the U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) headquarters in Doral, Florida, top U.S. military officials highlighted the critical role of space capabilities in addressing shared threats in the Western Hemisphere. General Francis L. Donovan, commander of SOUTHCOM, and General Stephen N. Whiting, commander of U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM), addressed senior military space leaders from 15 nations. The conference aimed to strengthen regional cooperation and advance shared space-related goals.
