Bristol County Savings Bank Engages in Community Service with Employee Volunteer Day
Bristol County Savings Bank recently organized its annual BCSB CARES: Employee Volunteer Day, closing its offices to allow over 300 employees to volunteer at 18 different locations across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This initiative, now in its fifth year, underscores the bank's commitment to community service. Employees from the bank, along with those from its affiliates Bristol Wealth Group and Milestone Mortgage Solutions, participated in various activities supporting local nonprofit organizations. The volunteer efforts included tasks such as weeding, raking, and mulching at the City of Taunton’s Weir Waterfront Park. Other organizations that benefited from the day included the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket, Old Colony Habitat for Humanity, and the Attleboro/Norton YMCA, among others. John Silva, President and CEO of Bristol County Savings Bank, emphasized the importance of community involvement and expressed pride in the employees' dedication to service.
