Immunomic Therapeutics Begins Phase 1 Trial for Cancer Vaccine ITI-5000
Immunomic Therapeutics, Inc., a biotechnology company based in Rockville, Maryland, has announced the dosing of the first participant in a Phase 1 clinical trial for its cancer vaccine candidate, ITI-5000. This investigational vaccine is designed to treat triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) using the company's proprietary UNITE® platform and self-amplifying RNA technology. The trial, known as VITALITI, aims to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and preliminary immunologic activity of ITI-5000 in patients with Stage II–III TNBC. The initial participant has completed post-dose monitoring without significant adverse events, marking a milestone in the vaccine's clinical development.
