St. Paul Pub Owner Calls for Harsher Penalties Amidst Repeated Break-ins
The owner of The Gnome Craft Pub in St. Paul, Brian Ingram, is publicly calling for harsher penalties for criminals after his establishment experienced another costly break-in, marking more than a dozen incidents over the past five years. Surveillance footage from a recent Sunday morning showed two individuals breaking into the pub, stealing $1,300 in cash and causing an estimated $20,000 in damages. Ingram highlighted that despite having 22 surveillance cameras and upgraded security measures, his business continues to be targeted. He expressed the significant financial and emotional toll these repeated incidents have taken, noting that he has had to secure loans to cover damages.
