Denver Nightclub Shooting Results in Four Injuries and Five Arrests
Four individuals sustained injuries in an exchange of gunfire that erupted outside the Volt Club in southwest Denver's Harvey Park neighborhood, leading to the arrest of five people. The incident unfolded just after midnight on Saturday, August 15, when Denver police received reports of an assault or fight occurring outside the establishment. A security guard, attempting to de-escalate the situation, intervened in the altercation. During this intervention, an individual within a large group reportedly discharged a firearm, prompting the security guard to return fire, initiating an exchange of shots. The security guard suffered a minor gunshot wound to the foot, and three additional victims were transported to the hospital, all reported to be in stable condition with good prognoses.
