Bridgewater Storage LLC Proposes Self-Storage Facility to Replace Farm Stand, Awaits Final Vote
Bridgewater Storage LLC is advancing plans to construct a self-storage facility on a site currently occupied by Melick's farm stand and the long-vacant Tectonic building in Bridgewater, New Jersey. The proposal includes revised landscaping plans aimed at enhancing the site's aesthetic appeal and providing better screening for nearby residents. During a recent Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting, Matthew Kunsman, a senior project manager at Bohler, detailed changes to the landscaping, including the addition of six evergreen trees to fill a gap along the Route 28 frontage. This adjustment was made possible by relocating the basin access to the north side of the property, closer to Route 22. The public will have an opportunity to comment on the proposal before a final vote is taken.
