Geraldine Welzen's Passing Marks a Legacy of Love and Devotion
Geraldine C. Welzen, a beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, at the age of 94. Born in Chicago, Illinois, on March 10, 1932, Welzen was known for her unwavering devotion to her family and community. Throughout her life, she worked as a secretary, notably with Swift & Co. in Chicago and Verlare Cleaners in Elmhurst. Her life was characterized by her deep faith, compassionate heart, and generous spirit. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and siblings, and is remembered for her warmth and kindness. A visitation is scheduled for July 19, 2026, followed by a Funeral Mass on July 20, 2026, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Naperville, Illinois.
