Suspected Drunk Driver in NYC Kills Two, Injures Three in Sidewalk Crash
In New York City, a suspected drunk driver, Elvin Suarez, crashed his vehicle into a crowded sidewalk, resulting in the deaths of two men and injuries to three others. The incident occurred near West 109th Street and Amsterdam Avenue. Suarez, a 61-year-old resident of Morningside Heights, was charged with multiple counts of manslaughter, vehicular assault, and DWI. The crash involved a chain-reaction collision with several parked vehicles.
