Former Albertville Officer Arrested for Misusing Law Enforcement Database
A former police officer from Albertville, Alabama, Jeremy Hannah, was arrested and charged with two offenses related to the misuse of law enforcement databases. The arrest followed an investigation by the Marshall County District Attorney's Office, initiated at the request of the Albertville Police Department (APD). Hannah allegedly accessed the Alabama Criminal Justice Information System (ACJIS) Law Enforcement Tactical System (LETS) multiple times without a legitimate law enforcement purpose. Specifically, he conducted unauthorized searches on his ex-wife and one of her family members. As a result, Hannah was placed on administrative leave with pay during the investigation, and the APD has since begun the process of terminating his employment.
