Triple Shooting in Chester County Leaves Two Dead, One Injured Following Vaping Device Altercation
A triple shooting occurred in Chester County, South Carolina, early Thursday morning, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and one injury. The incident, which took place around 12:30 a.m. on Mays Drive in the Edgemoor area, stemmed from an altercation over a vaping device, according to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities reported that Brandon Tavon Cassidy shot the first person multiple times, leading to their death. Subsequently, a second person returned fire in self-defense, striking Cassidy, who also died. The identities of the other two individuals involved, including the injured person, and Cassidy's age were not released at the time of the report. The sheriff's office is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
