Chicago Police Investigate Fatal Hit-and-Run Involving Pedestrian in Gage Park
Chicago police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run incident in the Gage Park neighborhood, where a 65-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a driver following an argument. The incident occurred on South Western Avenue, with the driver reportedly stopping his blue SUV to argue with the pedestrian before driving onto the curb and hitting him. The suspect then fled the scene eastbound on 51st Street. The victim was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Area One detectives are currently investigating the case, and no further information has been released by the police.
