Man Killed in Tucker Townhome Shooting Identified; Suspect Arrested in Savannah
A 29-year-old man, Ty'shawn Frank, was fatally shot inside a townhome on Lawrenceville Highway in Tucker, Georgia, on Monday afternoon. Gwinnett County police responded to a 4:30 p.m. call and found Frank dead from an apparent gunshot wound. Authorities stated that Frank was visiting the townhome owner, who briefly left and returned to find him deceased. Investigators identified 28-year-old Loren Tademy as the suspect. Following the shooting, Tademy fled the scene in the homeowner's vehicle. The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office later located and arrested Tademy in Savannah, Georgia. He has been charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and theft by taking. Detectives believe narcotics were involved, though the exact motive is still under investigation. Police have indicated that the incident appears isolated, posing no ongoing threat to the public.
