Baton Rouge Police Arrest Five Men on Drug Charges Following Sherwood Street Search
Baton Rouge Police officers arrested five individuals after executing a search warrant at a residence in the 3700 block of Sherwood Street. The operation, conducted on September 2, led to the seizure of various illicit substances, including Fentanyl, Synthetic Marijuana, and pressed Fentanyl pills, along with U.S. currency. The five men arrested were David Catherine Sr., 42; Dexter Collins, 46; Trumaine Bush, 42; James Hill, 35; and Carl Alexander, 34. All five face charges of possession with intent to distribute Schedule II and Schedule I drugs, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia. Additionally, Collins, Bush, Hill, and Alexander were charged with resisting an officer. According to the Baton Rouge Police, all arrested individuals have prior arrest and conviction records.
