Alabama State Trooper Pursuit Ends in Fatal Car Crash, Four Dead
Four individuals lost their lives in a car crash in Alabama during a pursuit by a state trooper. The incident occurred when the driver attempted to evade the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's highway patrol on a rural road in Pike County. The vehicle, a 2022 Hyundai Elantra, went off the road and collided with a tree. The driver, Tykevious D. Russaw, and two passengers, Robert D. Hall and Quamay Richardson, were ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene. A 17-year-old passenger, who was not identified, also died. The crash is under investigation, and the reason for the pursuit has not been disclosed.
