Delaware County Launches Mobile Vaccine Clinic Amid Rising Measles Cases
Delaware County has initiated a mobile vaccination campaign in response to a significant rise in measles cases in Pennsylvania, which have reached their highest level in over 30 years. The county's new mobile clinic, a 33-foot-long RV, will travel across the area to provide vaccines, physicals, and STI testing. This initiative is part of a broader effort to increase vaccination rates before the new school year begins. Although Delaware County has not yet reported any measles cases, nearby Chester and Lancaster Counties have seen a rise in infections. The campaign aims to address both access and vaccine hesitancy issues, particularly in areas with lower vaccination rates.
