Federal Prosecutors Push for Michael Hild to Start Prison Sentence in July
Federal prosecutors have requested that Michael Hild, the former CEO of Live Well Financial, begin his 44-month prison sentence next month. This request was filed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office on June 5, 2026, and if approved by U.S. District Court Judge Ronnie Abrams, Hild would be required to surrender by July 5. Hild was convicted in 2021 for orchestrating a scheme to fraudulently inflate the value of bonds to secure loans, leading to his legal troubles that began in 2019. Despite his appeals, including a recent unsuccessful petition to the U.S. Supreme Court, Hild has remained free on bond. The Supreme Court declined to hear his case, leaving him with limited options to delay his prison time further.
