Senate Advances Lindsey Graham's Russia Sanctions Bill After His Funeral

The legislation, which targets Russian oil and gas exports and extends sanctions against Iran, passed a procedural vote with bipartisan support. The bill aims to pressure Russia to end its war in Ukraine and includes provisions for imposing tariffs on countries aiding Russia's energy sector. Graham had reached an agreement with the White House to move the bill forward shortly before his death.
