California Outranks Florida as Nation's Most 'Fun' State in WalletHub Study
California has been identified as the most 'fun' state in the U.S., surpassing Florida, which ranked second, according to a recent WalletHub study. The study evaluated all 50 states based on 26 indicators across entertainment, recreation, and affordability. These indicators included factors such as the number of restaurants, amusement parks, arcades, music festivals, nightlife options, marinas, shoreline access, movie theaters, fitness centers, and access to national parks per capita. State and local spending on parks and recreation, as well as the variety of arts, entertainment, and recreation establishments, were also considered. Florida, despite its second-place ranking, excelled in several areas, including having the most restaurants, amusement parks, arcades, and music festivals per capita.
