Hormel Foods Donates Over $330,000 to U.S. Hunger-Relief Organizations
Hormel Foods Corporation, a Fortune 500 branded food products producer, has announced a combined donation of $332,000 to more than 40 hunger-relief charities across the United States. These contributions are part of Hunger Action Month and are specifically aimed at supporting efforts to reduce food insecurity in the local communities where the company operates. Each of Hormel Foods' U.S. production facilities received $10,000 from the Hormel Foods Charitable Trust to allocate to local hunger-relief organizations. This initiative supports various groups, including food pantries, community meal programs, and other hunger-relief nonprofits in over 40 communities nationwide. Examples of organizations receiving support include the Second Harvest Food Pantry of Beloit, the Knoxville Senior Center, Channel One Regional Food Bank, and the Foodbank of Somerset County in New Jersey. This effort underscores the company's commitment to addressing food insecurity at a local level.
