North County Adult Daycare Provider Indicted for $1.47 Million Medicaid Fraud
Tony King, a 63-year-old operator of Agape Love Adult Day Care LLC in North St. Louis County, has been indicted on five counts of healthcare fraud. King is accused of submitting $1.47 million in false claims to Missouri's Medicaid program from February 2021 to March 2026. The indictment alleges that King claimed reimbursement for services not provided, including overstating the hours of care and billing for patients who were not present. King has pleaded not guilty in U.S. District Court in St. Louis. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Karin Schute, following investigations by the FBI and other federal agencies.
