412 Food Rescue Collects Leftovers from NFL Draft to Combat Food Waste
412 Food Rescue, a Pittsburgh-based organization, has initiated a significant effort to collect leftover food from the NFL draft. As of Wednesday morning, the organization has successfully gathered approximately 43,000 pounds of food, with a target of reaching 60,000 pounds. This initiative is part of their ongoing mission to reduce food waste and provide meals to those in need. The collected food will be redistributed to various community organizations and food banks, ensuring that it reaches individuals and families facing food insecurity.
