Kansas City's 'Bus Bus Stop' Vandalized, Raising Concerns Over Public Art Safety
A unique bus stop installation in downtown Kansas City, known as the 'Bus Bus Stop,' has been vandalized. The structure, which is a repurposed bus serving as a functional transit stop, was found with rocks thrown through parts of its windshield. Molzer Development, the company behind the project, discovered the damage on a Wednesday morning. Zach Molzer, the founder, expressed disappointment over the incident, describing the installation as both a practical bus stop and a piece of art. The 'Bus Bus Stop' is noted for being the first of its kind, and Molzer humorously referred to it as Kansas City's 'most irrelevant attraction.' In response to the vandalism, Molzer Development plans to sell shirts featuring the bus stop to raise funds for repairs.
