NASA Prepares for SpaceX CRS-34 Mission to Resupply International Space Station
NASA is gearing up for the 34th SpaceX commercial resupply services mission to the International Space Station (ISS), scheduled for launch on May 12, 2026. The mission will deliver approximately 6,500 pounds of cargo, including new experiments, equipment, and supplies to the ISS crew. The Expedition 74 crew, including NASA astronaut Jack Hathaway and ESA flight engineer Sophie Adenot, is actively preparing for the mission. They are conducting health monitoring, spacesuit checks, and maintenance on science hardware and life support equipment. The crew is also reviewing plans for the Dragon spacecraft's automated approach and docking maneuvers, ensuring readiness for the cargo operations once the spacecraft arrives.
