Ballmer Group Launches MoveUp Southeast Michigan with Kylee Mitchell Wells as CEO
The Ballmer Group has launched MoveUp Southeast Michigan, a new independent philanthropy aimed at improving economic mobility for children and families in the region. Kylee Mitchell Wells, a prominent philanthropic leader in Detroit, has been appointed as the inaugural CEO. This initiative continues over a decade of investments by the Ballmer Group in education, youth development, and family support in Southeast Michigan. The organization will operate independently, with local leadership and governance, while still receiving funding from Connie and Steve Ballmer.
