Boeing 787 Nose Gear Collapse Injures Crew Members at Frankfurt Airport
A Boeing 787 Dreamliner operated by Lufthansa experienced a nose gear collapse at Frankfurt airport, injuring several crew members. The incident occurred while the aircraft was at a gate, with no passengers on board. The plane, delivered to Lufthansa in January, is one of the newest additions to the airline's fleet. Video footage shows the nose gear sliding forward, causing the aircraft's nose to fall several meters. Emergency vehicles were seen around the aircraft, which lay partly on its belly. Lufthansa is investigating the incident with relevant authorities, and Boeing is supporting its customer.
