Boticelli Foods Recalls Pistachio Nut Butter Due to Salmonella Risk
Boticelli Foods has issued a recall for one lot of its Bettergoods Pistachio Nut Butter due to potential contamination with Salmonella. The affected product, distributed exclusively by Walmart in 19 states, poses a health risk as Salmonella can cause serious infections, particularly in young children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems. The recall was initiated after the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services detected Salmonella in samples during a routine inspection. Consumers are advised not to consume the product and to return it for a full refund. No illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall so far.
