These funds, sourced from the Department of Justice’s Byrne Discretionary Community Project Grants program, are designated to support various programs. Specific allocations include $1.05 million to the City of Gresham for youth delinquency prevention, $1 million to Liberty House in Salem to enhance medical services for child abuse victims, and $1.03 million to the Oregon CASA Network in Salem for foster child advocacy.
