George Boyd, a newly elected member of the Norfolk County Council in eastern England, has been at the center of controversy after allegations surfaced that he might be an AI-generated persona. The claims arose due to a campaign photo that appeared overly polished, leading to suspicions of AI involvement. Boyd has firmly denied these allegations, asserting his real existence and participation in the election process. The controversy was fueled by Grok, an AI chatbot, which suggested the photo had characteristics typical of AI-generated images. However, it was later clarified that AI was only used to enhance the photo's background, not to create Boyd's image.
