Albert Einstein College of Medicine Launches BIO-VITAL to Accelerate Gerotherapeutics
Albert Einstein College of Medicine has introduced the BIO-VITAL program, aimed at advancing therapies targeting the biology of aging. This initiative, supported by the Ofer Family Foundation, is designed to connect biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies with Einstein's expertise in aging research. The program is housed within the Institute for Geroscience and leverages Einstein's extensive experience in cellular aging, metabolism, and longevity genetics. BIO-VITAL offers industry partners access to specialized research cores and proprietary models to evaluate novel gerotherapeutics. The program aims to improve healthspan by addressing multiple chronic diseases through targeted aging interventions.
