Battleship IOWA Offers Tailored Group Tours and Experiences
Battleship IOWA, home to the National Museum of the Surface Navy, is offering customized group tours and experiences for various organizations. These tours allow participants to explore the historic U.S. Navy battleship, which served during World War II, the Korean War, and the Cold War. Groups can arrange for catered meals onboard, hold meetings, recognize members, or simply enjoy a day on the waterfront. The Pacific Battleship Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, operates Battleship IOWA and relies on admissions, programs, and donations for support. Every group visit contributes to the preservation of the ship, honors the service of American sailors, and helps expand programs for students, veterans, and the community. The offerings can be tailored to specific interests and schedules, including group admission, the 'Life of a Sailor' experience, and private gathering spaces. Advance arrangements are required for catering, private spaces, ceremonies, and vehicle displays.
