Edith Duran-Reyes Joins Marquette's Trinity Fellows Program, Focusing on Corporate Communication and Nonprofit Service in Milwaukee
Edith Duran-Reyes has joined Marquette University's Trinity Fellows Program as part of the Class of 2028. She is pursuing a master’s degree in corporate communication while serving as a communication fellow at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Milwaukee. Duran-Reyes, a Milwaukee native, brings prior volunteer and professional experience in the nonprofit sector to her new role. Her work at Cristo Rey involves communicating the experiences and achievements of students and raising awareness about the school's mission and educational model. She emphasizes that effective communication extends beyond sharing information to telling stories that demonstrate the impact of an organization's mission. The Trinity Fellows Program pairs graduate study with meaningful work in the Greater Milwaukee area, supporting emerging leaders committed to social and economic justice through placements in various nonprofit organizations addressing issues like educational access, food security, and community development.
