Cherry Blossoms Near Full Bloom in Chicago's Jackson Park
Cherry blossoms in Jackson Park, located on Chicago's South Side, are nearing full bloom. The Chicago Park District has announced that the trees will reach their peak bloom in the coming days, urging visitors to plan their trips soon. The blossoms, which include pink and white varieties, are currently in various stages of blooming, with pink blossoms approaching stage five and white blossoms in stages three and four. Once the blossoms reach stage six, they will remain fully open for three to eight days, depending on weather conditions. Despite potential winds on Wednesday, the Park District is optimistic that most blossoms will remain intact through the warm and rainy weather expected for the rest of the week.
