Stakeholders Advocate for Infrastructure Development to Boost Nigeria's Tourism
At the 9th Edition of the Nigeria Tourism Investors Forum and Exhibition (NTIFE) in Abuja, tourism stakeholders called for improved infrastructure and enabling state policies to enhance the sector's growth. The event, organized by the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN), emphasized the need for investments in aviation, hospitality, and tourism assets to stimulate economic growth. Stakeholders highlighted the potential of tourism as an alternative to Nigeria's oil-dependent economy, advocating for policies that create jobs and attract private investment. The forum also discussed the importance of quality infrastructure, accessibility, and security in tourism development. Various state representatives shared their efforts in promoting tourism through infrastructure improvements and cultural heritage promotion.
