Xinjiang's First Robotics 9S Center to Boost AI Applications and Central Asian Market Access
The Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in Northwest China is constructing its first robotics 9S center in the Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone. The center, invested with 30 million yuan ($4.2 million), aims to create a comprehensive robotics ecosystem that includes robot exhibition, sales, leasing, customized development, maintenance, science education, and industrial empowerment. The project is expected to begin operation by the end of August. The center will feature advanced humanoid robots and various categories of robots, along with dynamic interactive scenarios such as robot dancing and robot football. It will also develop science education programs and robot retail services. The center has established cooperation with 25 leading Chinese robotic companies and institutions, ensuring robot supply, after-sales services, leasing capacity, and technology development.
